Bravo for trying to help a failing romantic prospect avoid the traps you’ve fallen into. It takes a really big person to do that. Most people wouldn’t care as it no longer involves them. I completely get how hard it is to resist falling back into old habits. The temptation is there every single day. You just have to remind yourself that no good can come out of going back into something that already failed for a reason.
