I think after a few years of intensive online dating, most of us will have been diagnosed with something along the lines of “advanced fatigue syndrome”. I know I have already gone through that burnout phase and now moved on to a “I will keep it open just in case” phase. I am of the opinion that no matter where we look, it’s always up to luck. I’m like you — I do everything proactively and fight for what I want. I don’t take no for an answer but I also know that if I didn’t have any luck in life, perhaps most things I pursued wouldn’t have happened. In that way, I feel grateful that at least I have been and hopefully will continue to be successful in my career. As for the countless number of weirdos you met online, I would just regard them as another crazy person you meet on the streets that you will forget about in a second. Thanks for sharing!
