I’ve always loved your candidness, Jonathan. This is a much-needed read for me as I’ve been unable to pull back from relationship and dating turmoils recently. In moments of weakness, in fear of being forever alone, I got back to apps even though I swore them off just a few months ago. It was better this time because I kept it low-maintenance by not swiping much. But the result was somewhat the same — no spark, no spontaneity, no surprise. I totally agree that we shouldn’t be looking for love so hard. I did that for so long and the only times I’ve truly fallen in love was when I wasn’t looking. Kudos to your self-love journey this year. You sure accomplished a lot and hopefully we’ll be more at peace with ourselves in 2019.
