Jennifer, this is a truly beautiful piece that speaks to my heart! I’m of the same opinion that we will never be over someone we once truly loved. They took a piece of us that can never be returned. I just heard a song last night that an old love used to sing and the memory came back in the snap of a second. I think it’s unfair to expect people who we consider dating to be completely over their exes — no one will. We just learn to live our lives without them and love the people who are right for us at the moment.
