Thanks so much for sharing your experience Alyssa. I think dating is probably the only thing in the world that we cannot apply a deadline to — and I learned it the hard way myself. I went through the same panic phase like you did and treated it like a project that needs results. The fact is there are not that many people in this world we will actually fall in love with and that’s why when I do fall in love, I give it my best and try everything until I give up (or it no longer works). As long as we no longer put pressure on ourselves because of age, it will be more fun and organic. Women inevitably have more pressure because of our biological clock, but last year I even let go of that in which I decided if I have kids, I have kids; if not, I’ll be just fine.
