This is definitely a personal preference. I’m in my late 20s and have dated guys well over 10 years older. I was the person who had to tell them not to text and call me instead! I hate texting and would rather talk on the phone or in person. To me, texting is so impersonal and lacks intimacy. Looks like I have the exact opposite style as you.
