You need to turn this into a guidebook, Bonnie! Personally, I’m probably the most passive and maybe what you would called “seasoned” type. I don’t like to waste time chitchatting before I even meet the person because I don’t see a point of texting back and forth with a stranger. And therefore I always try to set the date within a few days. I’d rather get it over with sooner and see if there’s chemistry than wasting weeks texting back and forth. I’m just not able to even get the slightest bit invested before meeting. I actually get pretty annoyed if a guy texts too much before meeting. Like you said, it really is a matter of personal preference. Everything in moderation is the perfect approach!
